I love working with Defrost, as they consistently challenge me in terms of what I'll be producing in Flash. This was no exception. I was approached to develop a flash overlay navigation for the redesigned LTU site, that would be omnipresent depending on where a user entered and navigated through the site.
The nav had to be dynamic enough to allow for wildly varying options in nav length and destination, as well as differing color palletes. In addition, each section also has a content-managed photo gallery animation. The navigation display would also change depending on the section (future students would be displayed as multiple boxes, vs a flowing list for the master section).
This was a nice project, if for nothing else because I had produced the navigation system for the prior LTU site as well (again for Defrost) years prior - so it was a welcome challenge to up my game.
